This may very well be the most divided metal album of the last five or so years. I don't think any other has achieved such a love/hate divide. So, what's the verdict here at the definitive source for such opinions (Metalreviews.com)?

I vote "Hit." Easily Anthrax's best since Sound Of White Noise. Pity it flopped here in the States, which led to Charlie Benante throwing a tantrum every few minutes.

It was good. But I got bored with it quickly and sold it. Late Slayer and Megadeth are better, imo.

I liked it. Much better than Stomp 442 and Volume 8, but I find the entire John Bush era is crminally underrated. Charlie's drumming was worth the price of admission alone.

I wish there was an in between choice. Oh well, what is the song with the really cool/crazy drumming?

Sorry, i just sent you a reply. But i ask again. Is this a joke? But then again, my opinion on Anthrax differs from most. If I were Anthrax I would have stopped releasing music after the Armed and Dangerous EP. Or I would have fired shitty Joey Belladonna and rehired Neil Turbin, that fucker was metal thrashin MUUUUUUUUUAAAAAAAAAADDDDDDDDDDDDDDD!!!!!

As someone on RYM said, calling your record "We've Come For You All" when your band name is Anthrax and the US is on high alert for Anthrax packages is probably not a good idea. I'm actually slightly surprised they got away with it.

As I said, I only really like one song on the album. I use to like the song Black Dahlia, but that time has passed.

And thank you Mr. Terror, I have recieved your response.

I was tempted to do a second Hit/Miss poll for this album, but since I found the original, I'll just post my thoughts here.

I still stand by my "Hit" rating, but there are definite flaws with the album. First and foremost is that it really hasn't aged very well. I absolutely loved it back in 2004/2005. But as time went on, I found myself listening to it less and less often. I think a big part of the problem is that Anthrax simply tried to do too much at once with it. They tried to combine elements of thrash metal, classic heavy metal, southern rock, punk, nu-metal, and even black metal. But the result was a somewhat disjointed album that didn't really excel with any genre it was trying to implement. Instead, it was a well-written and solidly played metal album... but nothing more. There was nothing really unique or innovative about it. And, to be honest, I think the whole cross-genre thing was probably a big part of the reason why the album sold so poorly in the US (despite the fact that Charlie Benante was hoping it would be the next Master Of Puppets), being that metal fans typically hate anything resembling change or variety, and the mainstream is usually too music-disinterested to handle such a thing.

There are still some great songs, though. Safe Home (even though, in the verses, Bush sounds like he's trying too hard to sound "tough/macho"), Cadillac Rock Box (my personal favorite), What Doesn't Die. Actually, the only song I would consider weak is probably Superhero. But the album's one of those the-whole-is-less-than-the-sum-of-its-parts albums.

Hit.
My favourite Anthrax with John Bush. Granted, it's not a great album but an entertaining one!
