This is interesting for a couple of reasons: 1: Old bands (satyrican, darkthrone, mayhem, dimmu borgir and emperor) talk about the early days 2: Extremely gay-looking frost - who said pussycat? 3: Fenriz fun ex.: Fenriz take on new and old black metal in the scene " We make bread and other can make cake. But you grow tired of cake too.. so we make ordinary bread" ![]() 4: Pretentious bullshit ala Mayhem " we are the elite. We are the top of the line" ... sure you are ![]() ![]() Part 1 http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1f9xt Part 2 http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1fa8o |

I'd really like to see a proper BM doc, that focuses on the music and also talks about all the non-norwegian bands. I don't have time to watch this now, will report later. |

I've seen that one before. Frost indeed looks like a fruitcake. The most entertaining BM documentary i've seen was a German one called 666 at Calling Death with Blasphemy and Impaled Nazarene and shit. |

This might have some interest to you Jürgen, a finnish bm documentry http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1sg7v http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x1sgh0 however.. there seems to be no band interviews, only gay looking ppl who pretends to know what they're talking about. But then again, i'm not finnish, so i wouldn't know... but it still looks like shit. |

That's MOT - Saatanalliset Säkeet (Satanic Verses), a Finnish comedy classic! Narration: "Metalheads are of course united by more than just music. At the Tuska festival, they celebrate death, blood, revenge and violence. Hands are raised showing horns, clothes are decorated with satanic symbols, pentagrams and inverted crosses. Their shirts show satanic messages and mock the god of the christians. There are also sadomasochistic spikes, chains and piercings. The gallery is complemented by delightful vampires and little witches, wiccans." After this, some goth girl (allegedly 21-years old, although she looks like jailbait to me) gives us her expert views on satanism, which i won't even bother to translate. The basic stuff you hear from teenagers who have just read the Satanic Bible for the first time. Narration: "Alongside satanic ones, the crowd also wears nazi symbols. There are also civil servants (don't know the correct English term for this. People who choose to do community service instead of joining the Finnish army,) vegetarians and other eco-activists." Then we get an interview with Keijo Ahorinta, a teacher for problem children, christian and popular public speaker for multiculturalism and other crap. He gives us some more expert views on satanism and nazism. After that the interviewer has a chat with some skinhead at the Tuska festival, who tells us about Odin and other old Finnish gods. (!!!!!) Narration: "Black metal, with all it's satanic, fascist and mythic aspects, was born in Norway some 10 years ago." ![]() ![]() ![]() And so on. It's a great documentary! |
