That's a pity. I liked OWN a lot, but liked the Wormless albums as well. Hopefully they'll get someone in who can do harsh vocals as well as sing... :blink:

My question is why someone would need to sing for Cryptopsy in the first place. And why would they need keyboards?

CRYPTOPSY is currently looking to audition candidates to fill the positions of singer/frontman and keyboardist/samplist. Vocalists must be able to sing in clean voice, on pitch, and also be able to scream/growl.

Could Cryptopsy be going emo? This is a shame, Lord Worm is a pretty charismatic guy, moreso than most DM frontmen IMO>

i agree with Dago, as good as OWN was, the vocals were a bit disappointing. as for clean singing? i'm skeptical, but since it's Cryptopsy you never know what to expect.

I didn't even think Once Was Not was that good...but now Cryptopsy are finished; stick a fork in them. At least they released None So Vile: few bands can say they ever released an album that good.

This is truly terrible news. OWN was the second best album aften NSV and I can only think it was so good because of Lord Worm's return. The thing about clean vocals and keyboards, I don't even know what to think. I hope they don't change their style.

I could take it if they started having Hammond-type keyboard breaks (come on, it'd be great), but too much orchestral stuff? I'll wait to hear t before rubbishing it, though.
