| Post subject: | Vanguard - (battle metal?) odd little indy band |
Cool indy band i found via warriorradio.com through myspace. At first glance it appears to be typical power metal, but im not sure it is at all. Kinda unique. The vocals are definite black metal, with some low growls here and there. It seems like black or battle metal mixed with classical/symphonic maybe even gothic parts, of the guitars still sound kinda power metal. It is interesting for sure. after a few listens i really dug it, especially the full integrations with BM vocals and classical compositions throughout.
