Title says it all. Some people say Satyricon's golden period ended with Nemesis Divina, some, like me, don't.

Hit. Hit in the fuckin face. This album is unique, compelling, and a concrete slab of metal. The riffing is freaking monstrous. I've never heard anything like it before or since, and it's a shame that it's become a bar that even Satyr can no longer reach.

You're a pansy if you don't like this album.

Easy hit. I thought this album sucked a few years ago but it finally clicked in a big way. I was bummed that we'd never hear another Dark Medieval Times again or even another Nemesis Divinia but this is monstrously heavy and unique listen. I think it is flat-out better(or at least a more consistent) listen than ND.

A good album indeed but from this point Satyricon starts to decline.

HIT !!! This was among the few albums which did not grip me in the first listen, but I somehow felt a dying need to listen to again and again and on repeated listens, loved it. Havoc Vulture, Prime Evil Renaissance and The Scorn Torrent are great. The closing moments of The Scorn Torrent is just fucking furiously brilliant ! :dio:

Absolute fucking hit. If Now, Boring as Fuck were half as good as this I'd have bought it anyway.
