There you go.

I'm too drunk to judge it by now, I just hope it's a rough mix or something because the levels seem to be a bit all over the place.

yeah it has to be a REALLY rough version because that production is terrible.

That was pretty rad, though the mix was bloody awful

I like it. Which is very surprising, since i've pretty much hated everything they've done since Wolf's Lair Abyss.

Well, this thread is a ringing endorsement of the new Mayhem.

"It's quite good" all round.

It's a good song, though it takes more than a good song to make a good album. We'll have to wait and see I guess. I for one am chiefly glad to see them change a bit the direction they had on Chimera, which was a decent album, but somewhat... how shall I call it... bland, for my taste.

It's amazing how much the amount of suckage that Maniac possessed dragged the rest of the band down.

I have mixed feelings about this one, but I know I'll buy the album anyway... Hell, I bought Chimera both as digipack cd and lp, and I think that one is just average.

Sometimes being a collector sucks :P

i don't think that the albums that maniac sung on would have been any better with attila. I think they were just going through a time of change and it has taken them a while to try the new ideas and see which worked and which didn't

So, what are opinions on the new one? This might sound goofy, but the sound and riffs kind of make me think of a stormy sea- kind of epic and violent and crushing. That actually makes it sound better than it is... the writing isn't as cool as the sound of the band. Although if it's like other Mayhem albums I shall end up enjoying it much more than I do at the moment.

Ordo ad Chao is the first Mayhem i've considered buying since Wolf's Lair Abyss. I'll have to buy it later this year, have to get my hands on some kult stuffs first.
