I found out that unfortunately I will not be seeing Sadus at the Thrash 'Till Death North American tour. They dropped out, much to my dismay, and taking their spot is Hirax and Into Eternity. Now I know about Hirax, but I know nothing about Into Eternity. I remember once in a while where someone talked about them, but I can't remember if it was in a positive or negative way. So what I am asking is, is Into Eternity a good replacement? And, will they sound in place with Destruction, Hirax, and Municipal Waste?

They are good, but sound nothing like Sadus. They have a very modern melodic death/progish sound. Almost all their songs have a cleanly sung chorus, and then a few blastbeats, screams, and technical solos thrown in for good measure. Three of their albums are reviewed on this site and all have gotten high scores. I wish I could see them live.

they're a very solid band, but imo not a good replacement at all, considering it's an "all-thrash" concert. then again, Into Eternity have played with everyone from Stratovarius to Hate Eternal...

Loved or hated around here. I love everything about them. I saw them live about a year ago when they toured with Stratovarius. They are fucking amazing, and the singer will blow you away. 100% metal, no matter what people here say. You won't be disappointed dude.

NESS is wrong. :)

I sort of like this band but the choruses are fucking emo godamnit!

And they've got that damn soundalike metalcore production that everyone hires that asshat from Killswitch Engage to get for them.

But they are quite good. The harsh vocals are good - melodeath style harsh, usually - and the musicianship is excellent and varied. I just wish they'd sort out of the clean vocals, since the new guy does a few really cool Halford-style parts, but just not often enough.

Seriously, they should fire that faggy vocal. He has ruined all their albums for me. I thought it was a chick at first.

Other than that they are pretty good.

Yeah, seeing the same show, and when I heard Sadus was dropping off, I nearly died. Into Eternity is not from the same neigborhood. That being said, if you can get into super proggy melodeathcore that's actually good (I know, it doesn't make sense), then you'll be able to kick back with a few brews without leaving the venue with a scowl. :)

Hah, the new singer's only been on the new album lol!

Here's a video of Severe Emotional Distress:

Hah, what's Will Sasso doing in the video?! :P

It's decent. Sounds like a song that represents all the aspects of the album well but isn't one of the best songs of the bunch. I really hope I'm right coz this was just ok. The singer's great versatality can not be denied though. The clean chorus reminded me a lot of DragonForce :O

I know it's not him, but it's distracting.

+1

After all the hype I'd seen and heard about Into Eternity, I was thoroughly underwhelmed when I listened to them.

Well I have heard 4 songs from them, and I don't know what to think. I don't mind them when the deathy singer is siniging, but the other guy just ruins it for me. I might be able to get use to it, if not, then I will just get fucked before they come on. :) :dio:

The songs are:
Beginning of the End
Buried in Oblivion
Absolution
Imagination
