Terrorizer love it + a rather decent free CD track lead me to think this might be a good buy. They've gone ethnic and proggy, whilst keeping their trademark Blackened gothic sound. Has anyone heard it?

I've listened to it 10 times, it's fucking great. And i was never a big fan of the band in the first place.
I'd give it something like an 85.

Yeah, Non Serviam seems ok but the rest leaves me rather cold. They've really pulled their socks up on this, though, haven't they?

A huge improvement since Sanctus Diavolos.
The only past album i actually liked was A Dead Poem and i also enjoyed a couple of songs from Khronos.(Lucifer Over London :dio: )
I still need to listen to their more black metal albums though.

I haven't heard any of their last stuff, but this album is pretty cool although the vocals grate in a few places.

Great album! I like all RC albums except Genesis and Sanctus Diavolos, and I'm glad to see them returning to their trademark dark melodic sound that made albums like Triarchy Of The Lost Lovers, The Dead Poem or Khronos sound so great. However, Theogonia is quite different, they industrialized their sound a bit, but they did it in a very imaginative way, and it works. This is the best album from early 2007, by far.
