A general question. What metal do you listen to to get in the Christmas mood? Personally I’m I firm believer that any Christmas present that will be wrapped to the tunes of Wintersuns album Wintersun will bring great joy to the receiver ![]() |

Trans-Siberian Orchestra, but when I listen to a band I really liked last year during Christmas it reminds me of that time and gets me in the Christmas spirit. |

After seeing this thread, I went and listened to "Carol of the Bell"--Trans-Siberian Orchestra and it kills! I might have to get one of their CD's. I don't really understand why they're on this site, though. |

There are also members of Savatage. However, there is a lot more than just metal... so I can see why one might think they don't belong here... kind of. They don't belong in the Death, Thrash, Black metal forum that's for damn sure. |

Check this out, heatseeker: WIZARD OF WINTER That dude's light show was so badass!! ![]() |

They're a dynamic band. Those three Christmas album obviously are more seasonal, but they can be played at any time and still be good. They have a non-Christmas album, too: ![]() An awesome album! |
