they just released what is their essentially their first album (their last had a drum machine, and wasn't nearly as professional as "Probing Tranquillity", not to mention being 15 minutes long)

really awesome stuff.

Wow, really impressive band. I really like their style--progressive death is definitely up there as my favorite type of music. I would download there songs in an instant if they were available...

wow, this is quite nice.

i don't like the vocal style that i usually hear in this kind of music, i think it's better that they don't use vocals at all.

their guitarist just posted this on their myspace:

Quote:
I am forming a straight up bebop/free form/solo guitar jazz project with heavy latin influence. Looking for a bassist who preferably uses a fretless or cello. 2nd guitarist must have a headful of knowledge of 7ths, 9ths, 13ths, 11ths, 6ths, and have extremely clean chord progression changeup ability. Solo ability a plus, as this will be mainly an instrumental solo guitar atmospheric setting. Either way, it will be classified as advanced and soulful jazz with the occasional blues and funk influences chiming in. Think Steely Dan meets Al Dimeola and Wes Montgomery and you might have a close match. Acoustic guitar preferable, and I stress HEAVY latin influence. This project will be all over the place and I'm more serious about this than anything right now. Spread. Cheers.

should be cool....

After 3 years of a search that seemed like it'd never end, we are proud to announce the addition of Tim Richardson to our ranks. Tim has worked very eagerly to prove his abilities and has been the closest match as to what we've been looking for. We'd like to thank him for stepping up to the plate, and we hope you all enjoy the track posted on our page.

In additional news, we are still seeking a new label home and a commited bassist for touring purposes. Thanks for reading, cheers!
