Yup. So you should go to hell, or something.

Elvenefris is a godly album. They should reform, those fuckers. Don't they know that everybody loves them now?

I think they're in a band called like Lykathe with the same guitarist and drummer.

I tried to listen to them but the sound of the drummer's snare pissed me off too much. Call me picky if you like, but good sounding drums are one of the first things I listen for :P

Elvenefris 69/100. Everyone goes crazy for it when they first hear it, but the parts that win you over at first are the ones that make it lame later on. It's the sick grinding parts that made the band good, and they abandon that 75% of the album. I personally dislike the effort, but was amused by the drumming. Honestly, though, OVERRATED.

My experience with LA was somewhat different.I had heard great things about them, and despite my best efforts I couldn't track down their cd.Then when I gave up hope Willowtip got a few copies in,which I immediately snagged.I had gotten a bunch of other cd's at the time,so it wasn't the first thing I listened to,and when I finally did,I just didn't enjoy it that much.

Then about a month later I was "in the mood" and popped the disc in,only to be astonished with what I heard. To this day not only do I love the cd,but it grows more on me each day.One thing I am glad I learned many moons ago was to not wright something off the first time I hear it,as I could miss out on something truly amazing,or what I may find enjoyable later.
