Excuse my french but I'm very annoyed. I recently tried to add one of my favourite techdeath bands: From a Second Story Window (http://www.myspace.com/fromasecondstorywindow) and another great techmetal band Into the Moat (http://www.myspace.com/intothemoat) and they were refused for not being metal, which is bullshit. I complained and they said they have a strict "no metalcore" policy, which pissed me off because neither are metalcore. But wait! It gets worse! Look who made it on the site http://www.metal-archives.com/band.php?id=6795 They're even LISTED at metalcore! Gabhaghaghgahgghh!!!! |

LOL, you got punk'd. I'd say both are metalcore. Just as much as Gut, Cock & Ball Torture, and many others are a form of "core," themselves (porn-grind>Goregrind>GrindCORE...Derived from) - AND ALSO victims of the same rule. Every band mentioned in this thread suggests that it belongs to the avantegarde forum, BTW. |
