A band so obscure even Archives doesnt have them.

Anyone heard of them?

I got some album free with a big order form Goaowarex, limited to 150 copies with handmade packaging. Of course, i doubt 150 people in the world care about this band.

Count yourself lucky, they'll probably be really big soon then you'll be able to flog it for millions on teh web. Either that or they'll vanish without trace. What's the music like?

Hang on, handmade packaging? Did they wrap some newspaper around a CD-R or something?

No, but Goatowarex do just wrap their cds in gladwrap, and the booklets too. So you hav to assemble the cds with your own cases.

And its cardboard packaging on the vanargandr.

Sound? Like, slow as shit noise, like a really de-tuned, distorted bass. Some chanting, barely audible, in the background. Its from New Zealand!

Reference point: Sunn 0))). But even more minimalist and fucked up. And unlike Sunn 0))), it seems like songs, not just random slabs of noise.

Give it to me uncompressed, if you can, otherwise I'll have to wait a week or so to hear it. Just one track will do fine, thanks.

 Amazing. I haven't heard that one since I was 7 years old. A classic if I ever saw one.

If the more subtle aspects of Astaroths post eluded you, I can tell you that 'Papand' is not really a part of my name.

I have only heard the song once so far. The first listen was, hmm.. not particularly exciting. But I'll listen to it a few more times before passing judgment. Maybe I need to 'understand' this before I can appreciate it, hehe..
