Although the only other album I've heard in full is Still Life (which is brilliant), Damnation actually spoke to my soul. So that it is.

I'll be getting Damnation possibly tomorrow. And next month, I'm thinking of getting either Ghost Reveries or Deliverance. So I thought I'd poll everybody here and see which Opeth is the most popular overall. |

Morningrise. It's the first one I ever heard from them, and it's just insanely beautiful. Still Life is an amazing album as well. Don't get Ghost Reveries until you have the rest of the discography though. It's pretty good, but not an essential release. They have far beeter albums than that one. |

Where's the option "none"? Opeth is shit, complete wankery. The songs have no flow, they sound like 2 minutes songs copied onto the end of the other. It's not complex, its just random. Among random shit bands like themselves, Opeth is the ony one that manages to be predictable with their hard-soft-brutal-clean build up. Fuck Opeth. |

I used to think Still Life was one of the best albums ever but since I heard Ghost Reveries like a year ago my interest in Opeth has really dulled a lot. They need to switch ideas faster, my ADD brain gets bored :( Still Life is still their best though, or tied with My Arms Your Hearse I'm glad my name is being used as an insult now... :cry: |
