I don't really know any bands like AO but, I dunno, maybe Axis of Perdition? Nah.

Industrial? Quite a few. Go to Metal Archives and do a search...

Black Funeral are awesome for BM with an electronic twist (the more recent stuff)

Also Red harvest are good for industrial with som DM in. Neither sound like ...And ocens though.

Red Harvest is pretty good yes, a bit more straightforward and less melodic than ...and Oceans, but they share the abstract imagery. Aborym's a good idea, though more blackish in sound. Trollheim's Grott is a nice band I got to know recently. Cynicon is somewhat related, though I dislike them. The Wicked is another Finnish band, with Finntroll members even, and is nice, if a bit strained sometimes. Lastly I can recommend Ram-Zet. Not really the same either, but excellent nonetheless.

Oh yeah, ...and Oceans reformed as Havoc Unit (thx Crast). Check them out.

I really enjoy Aborym, but they might be a bit too blackish for what you are looking for.

Well, Thy Catafalque is like BM with dance beats going on, maybe not what you want.

And Aborym.

Absolutely. I can't wait for Supervillain Outcast.

I'll also echo the previously mentioned Thorns, Aborym, and Red Harvest. Excellent stuff.
