it interesting, it would be cooler if they had more faster/less simple parts though.

Never been a fan of eithier band. I should like Blind Guardian, given the subject matter, but I just can't get into it.

Ive never listened to Soilwork before. So I cant comment on if Im excited on the singing part, but the name of the album and the artwork and with all the involvement from some BG playas and GR's bassist, I can say I am very interested in hearing how this turns out.

never? dude, you're missing out!

check out The Chainheart Machine (heavy Soilwork) and Natural Born Chaos for the "other" Soilwork. NBC has Devy handling production.

Or just listen to A Predator's Portrait, which is like the best of both worlds. It also wouldn't help that much since the Soilwork guy uses a ton of distortion on the Coldseed album and doesn't sound at all like his stuff with them (maybe some of the parts on Stabbing The Drama/Figure #5). He's changed his clean vocals and screams a lot over the years for the worse.

What's his name is a good drummer but the only reason I would ever listen to soilwork is because of the guitarwork, so I'm not gonna go off and listen to another band with that assclown on vocals that can't even promise me that.

Soilwork are pretty bad, so I won't be listening to this.

Why not name them Coldplay?

I'm a big fan of Blind Guardian, but I don't really fancy Soilwork. And with a name like Coldseed.....is it worth a shot? I think I've been listening too much black metal.

it's ok, theres some interesting ideas but bjorn strid's vocals are kinda weak these days and the guitar parts are too simple

I thought it was one of the lamest things ever. Seriously, do not waste your time on this.

Ditto. It was crap. If you want some decent poppy stuff, go with Head Control System.

I checked out Natural Born Chaos to see what the dude sounded like and I actually liked it, which was unexpected. Although I do find it boring to listen to in all of one sitting. Follow The Hollow and Black Star Deciever were my favorites. I think I'd rate the album aboot 70/100.

Anyway, I am officially somewhat anticipating this Coldseed.

Judging from the samples, this is simply shit. I guess Thomen decided to make some money in his old age (Bjorn is used to shit for quite some time now).

Wow, Coldseed sucks. That makes 2 albums this year get my 'What the shit??' rating.
