Good. Definitely at the punkest end of BM, which I like, and pretty baffling to outsiders.

I haven't heard all his stuff but I can assure you he's not the guy to ripoff. I like Forest Poetry the best, though it can cause a lot of inner ear damage.

Hmm, I don't have anything pre-Forest Poetry, but I wouldn't say the later stuff sounded Burzumic. Like I said, way too punkish and stripped down. Reminds me of some Oi! band or something.

Has he killed himself already? I think he was going to.

Ildjarn is as extreme as it gets, he himself labels his works "anti-music".
I absolutely love his stuff; I find it amazing that the same mind can produce the most stripped down ear-violating minimalist BM ever recorded and beautiful entrancing ambient soundscapes as well.

His catalogue is immense and amazing, so dig deeper! (by the way, Norse is no demo, it was the first 7", and being a collaboration with Nidhogg it has some of the cleanest production you'll ever hear associated to this artist).

Can't really pick a favourite Ildjarn track. Some of them are alike.

Which ones are the ambient releases?

The question was a feeble attempt at being humourous from my side...

I'm so misunderstood

Landscapes, Hardangervidda and Hardangervidda Part 2. The latter two also involve Nidhogg. I haven't heard Landscapes in a while, but I find Hardangervidda to be absolutely amazing.

Chock full of info, yet concise.

You need to post more.

Thank you for the positive feedback!

I am usually very busy, so while I browse these forums quite often, I don't have always time to contribute more actively. Which is a shame, as this is a nice place, as opposed to many internet Metal communities that I'd witnessed sink to the pits of retardation faster than you can type "wtf".
