I assume the raw production comment was sarcasm?

It was ok. Vocals weren't very good.

hmm.. nah.. i didn't find the production raw either :)

imo raw production is like the one used on f.ex. Nidhug or Seigneur Voland... but then again.. what is raw production? is it the guitars etc sounding raw like on Ulver - Nattens madrigal, or is it crappy production where the volume goes up and down all the time as if it was recorded live with a ghettoblaster in a dark swamp in the middle of a forest during the winter in the year of the tiger ( 1998)?

I think Ulver is raw, the others are raw to a level of crappiness. Dead Reptile Shrine for example, can't hear a goddamn thing, that's absurd.

Ulver is indeed the cool type of raw. But its weird, i have a bootleg Burzum rarities cd, and i like the horrible demo versions of spell of destruction and lost wisdom at least as much as the originals.
