well, i don't think it's too much like Nebelhymnen, perhaps in some ways. But imo Nebelhymnen was more cleverly written, greater ideas and better music, and Abgründe has somewhat a boring songstructures and the average track is shorter than Nebelhymnen, and doesn't have many highlights.. still have some decent moments though 
.. and yes, i know you're going to protest since i mentioned "songstructures"... you always go crazy when somebody mention "structure"
