This 'new' song sounds like a leftover from Cabinet, albeit the few quirky passages in it offer something slightly different. The song as a whole is disjointed, even taking its genre into consideration.

That would be a fair assessment. I should add that I have grown out of that kind of death metal, though. Still, Cabinet does offer some more traditional DM sequences that I can still enjoy, but this new song is technical wanking at its best. Or worst, depending on your view.
