Aeon-On record, they're a fun death metal band-they were way to serious for their own good live, meh. Prostitute Disfigurement-Not my thing, the crowd where into it, but I was talking to Corpsegrinder for most of their set. Cannibal Corpse-Opened with The Time To Kill is Now and the pit went fucking crazy. The band gave an awesome performance and were really energetic-Corpsegrinder knows how to get a crowd rowdy when he wants to. CC Setlist (In some kind of order, by no means the right one): Time to Kill is Now Unleashing the Bloodthirsty Born in a Casket Disfigured Five Nails Through the Neck Decency Defied I Cum Blood I Will Kill You Death Walking Terror The Wretched Spawn Murder Worship Fucked With a Knife Make Them Suffer Disposal of the (fucking) Body Devoured By Vermin Hammer Smashed Face (After HSF, surprisingly) Stripped Raped and Strangled. (not sure if that's all the songs) The only qualms I have with the gig are that it was fucking packed and waaaaaaay too hot in there (which meant frequent trips to the bar to pour water on myself, maybe if I wasn't bashing the pit so much, haha) and that sometimes (not often though) Corpsegrinder's low growls would go too distorted through the PA and sound mushy. Overall a fucking class gig, Corpsegrinder talked to me and a friend for frikkin' ages. Asked his opinion on Chris Barnes, he said "he's a nice guy, but his vocals are only good on the first record and he's in it for the money" soemthing liek that. I asked Corpsegrinder if I could growl a song on stage (no harm in aking, haha) and he was like "go for it" but the only songs I know the vocals for where too close to the end of the set or not being played. I advise you all to catch this tour, fuckin awesome. |

i don't know how the fuck Corpsegrinder hasn't broken his neck headbanging yet. i'd like to see them live, but they skipped Portugal on this tour :( did he dedicate "fucked with a knife" to the ladies? |

Cannibal Corpse is kinda "meh", but I must admit that any band that comes up with a song title like "I Cum Blood" deserves a touch of respect. |
