I very often try to look for Death and Black Metal that is away from the mainstream and innovative, and original. I will say this, I have a very esoteric taste in music, whether it be metal, blues, or anything else. I find that bands such as Behemoth, Nile, and earlier COF is worth listening to, some very much so, even, yet I find myslef looking for something more adverse. What are some suggestions for Death or Black that is original and adverse?

You like Brenoritvrezorkre ? I haven't heard anything good by them. I agree with your other suggestions.

You have already recieved a lot of good recommendations so I will not make another list. No one however, can ask for BM recommendations without having to bear with me shouting: DRUDKH!!! Autumn Aurora! Buy or die! Now!

I am not knowledgeable enough in the field of Death Metal to give proper guidance..

Brenoritvrezorkre isn't terrible. It's just not easy to get into. I can see why someone would like it.

And to some extent, I do too!

Lykathea Aflame should definitely appeal to your tastes, wonderful unorthodox brutal Death Metal with enough variation and excellent melodies to keep you interested.

Also, Decapitated are fantastic. Not experimental by any means, but brutal and technical without overdoing it or becoming boring. Winds of Creation and Nihility are masterpieces of riffery.

For different black metal, I really love Ved Buens Ende. But they might be a little too different if you aren't a big fan of post-black and stuff. Diabolical Masquerade is another favorite of mine, the early material is less adventurous, but it's all very good. Emperor is a must if you haven't heard them, also getting more progressive with time. And you would probably enjoy Crionics if you like Behemoth. They share a similar style, with a notable Emperor influence.

Amen

Once you get a Drudkh album, you will have all of them: That is A Fact.

I'll add one amazing record to that: Mystic Forest - Green Hell. That's truly original black metal. Raw, but of high inner quality.
SONG
I'm not too fond of DsO, but Drudkh I'm a big fan of.

Yeah.. Drudkh is some of the finest black metal out there..

By the way. If you have just been listening to Drudkh and catch yourself thinking: "This approach to BM is stellar! But now I could go for something a little more brutal"
Buy Hate Forest - Purity and Astrofaes - ... Those Whose Past is Immortal

On second thought: Just buy them now..
