I haven't heard the others (they're essential, i know) but the Voïvod album is brilliant.

I'd reccomend the Exciter and Anvil over the Voivod. You should also check out Razor.

Well, of these three, i'll go first for voivod and then... another voivod album, Killing technology, Dimension Hatross, or Rrrroooooaaaarrrrr.
Exciter and Anvil are great bands, but not essential in a discography. There's more interesting stuff in the american thread, and british 80's metal (Raven, Diamond Head, Satan, Witchfinder General...) than in this list.

Definitely Exciter with their "Violence And Force" album. Check also Canadian Penetrator, Witchkiller and of course the beautiful Lee Aaron with her "Metal Queen" :)

I take it you have that album "Music To Make Love To Your Old Lady By" with Monsieur Patton? Is it worth getting?
