some of you might remember my great work in my great one-man band Darkness of Heaven... a half year or so have passed now, and now it's time for the next chapter with my work with cake... it's not hard to hear that my music have grown mature over the last few months.. better stucture, better lyrics, better music - all because of hard and dedicated work. This time had the honour of working together with Misha and Stefan, and their appearence clearly raise the artistic value of my work.. hope u enjoy, mere mortals...


some of the lyrics ( roughly translation of Mies' monologue at the end):

" .. and thus it came to be, that all the cakes in the lands of Cakerian was eaten... the sun stopped to shine and the children laughter faded never to return... now only rain, howling winds, mourning and cries are to be heard in these lands ... now it's time for salty cookies to reign for a 1000 years with torture and pain"



yousendit.org those bastard only allow 10 uploads... so i've uploaded it several times, due to the great demand of my work. - don't worry, there's enough for everybody.. i have included both songs in the package.

GY!BE is awesome, some of the best and innovative post-rock I've heard. And I heard quite some up untill now, but GY!BE is still in my top.

song 2 (Story of Cake) 'cause I liked how destructured it was... kinda reminded me of Fantômaswithout the talent and the musicianship and the composition...

I hope The Revenge of Cake will be available soon 8)

okay, you greedy bastard :wink: .. i will make the third and final cake song one day, and thus making the cakesongs into a trilogy.. next time i promise more action, more geniousity, and above all... a song with elements woven better together. :P

Kim, the end of the Story of Cake, exactly 3:07 and 3:14 min you're playing a synth melody, did you write that or is it taken from somewhere? Because it is amazing, seriously a great melody, you should do more of that in the third song.

ha ha :D thanks.. i did that one myself :P .. it's not perfect imo though, i should have cut it off 1 sec earlier in order not to get the final note/key
