I'm only heard Dizzy From Eternity, which is very good. Has anyone heard that accoustic version of Genevieve? How's it?

Haven't heard either. Wasn't the Accoustic one handed out to random people at one of their shows as a band of another alias?

Quite possibly, I think I've heard something like that once. This band is all about kvlt gimmicks, so I wouldn't be the least surprised.

Yeah, but their music is worth the bullshit. Fuck, I owned a LIMITED edition of Northsuite, 100 copies, but then they re-issued it with a different cover. LOL, but before that, it was definetely worth it. I still enjoy the album, and I got the cool cover, anyhow. w00t.

Yeah, check out the bands site... They basically hand all their super limited stuff to friends, and the inner circle. Also, they play under various alias' in order to avoid black metal fans who worship them. Their fear is coming out to play an accoustic song, and having nothing but mean looking metal fans, waiting impatiently with their arms crossed for something heavy. All the stuff about their ultra bizarre shows was rumor, if my memory of what I read is serving me well.

By the way...

What bands do you think Velvet Cacoon would play well with on stage?

Drone bands, maybe? As the Poets Affirm? God is an Astronaut?

Personally, I'm stumped.

They albums they say to have released amongst their friends are all fake. They never existed. Actually their Black Metal stuff is not really what I'm interested in. It has its moments, but their lowfi chamber music is way better.

What are you talking about? How the Last Day Came and Stayed then Faded into Simulated Rain exists, and no one owns that but the wind, and some source on DC++. :P

I'm talking about the record they said to have released before all that.
