Drudkh is amazing and Hate Forest is amazing, but Purity is something special for me, so I'll go with HF just because I have to choose one. Roman Saenko is an amazing musician. |

Roman Saenko is an amazing musician. I was going to say something along the same lines, but you basically took the words outta my mouth. I'd also say Scythia is very imprortant to me as well. And I 2nd, 3rd, and 4th the Roman Saenko comment. |

Hate Forest (however silly their name is) is truly amazing. But I have an almost spiritual relationship with Forgotten Legends and Autumn Aurora so I'll go with Drudkh. Roman Saenko is indeed an amazing artist. If the new Drudkh and the new project Blood Of Kingu reaches the standards of previous Drudkh and Hate Forest I'll forgive him for Dark Ages. |

Not really... Hate Forest is very intense, like a furious rush of emotion that never slows in pace. |

Take Funeral Mist, remove most obvious songstructures, add a little atmosphere and despair, and then you have HF. In other words, Funeral Mist meets Forest (the Russian one, but since you probably haven't heard it this makes no sense). |

I won't say anything shocking, I'll just add that both bands are amazing. But I'll go with HF for it is as sad as Drudkh, but also twice/thrice as agressive. A funny fact: the Ukrainian scene really don't get what's there so special about both bands and find them pretty mediocre. Weird. |
