Mysticum ist boring...

well, I'm not in the mood for that kind of metal anyways... I'll try it later but hopes are not very high...

NP
Mortifera "Complainte D'une Agonie Celeste" (much better even if the vocals are a tad tiresome)

Ah I quite like Mysticum.. I already have this, and also an mp3 copy of their demo compilation which is kind of ok. Thorns are good in this style, too. and Aborym are very exciting although I almost consider them post-black by now.

once you get people adding too much industrial to black metal they just end up playing boring post-black, though.. are there more bands like these?

edit: Oh, yeah, Manes are another industrial BM act thing but they just don't do it for me.

Aborym aren't even close to <code> and other such acts. I have high hopes for Generator.

Mysticum is great.

What bands in post-black are boring? <code> is decent, latter-day Mayhem is half-good, half-bad, The Axis of Perdition is brilliant, Anaal Nathrakh is good, etc etc.

the bands like Fleurety, Solefald and yes, <code> are the ones that bore me to tears. I like Dodheimsgard, Axis of Perdition and Blut aus Nord though. and of course Arcturus.

Wasn't the album rereleased both in cd and lp versions not too long ago? :?

Don't know about the LP version, but it was re-released as a CD by Avantgarde like a year or two ago, I think.

Together with Thorns and DHG they are the best industrial BM band. Others are just violating their instruments without purpose (the ones like <code>, whose members should've stayed in their own projects, imo). But at least the "futuristic BM" guys know how to play.
