Who is Eric, and why must he rape the angels?

Erik "Grim" Brødreskift played drums in Immortal, Gorgoroth, Borknagar etc... he commited suicide, so it's a tribute of some sorts...

Are you very sure about that? In another interview he said that only few knew who the Erik really was.

His friend who commited suicide might be named Erik too (I don't know), but anyway, Rasluka II and I where dedicated to him. The song Zad refers to is dedicated to Grim.

I see. Ol' Eric's off having the time of his life chasing angels round in the heavens. Rape the angels, Eric!

He was pissed off because not many people understood to whom the song was dedicated. And yes, it's that Erik; there's a picture of hime in the booklet, it's explained in the (unreadable in the cd version) liner notes and there's even a sample of him speaking at a concert at the end of the song, I think he says something like "This is Demonaz, that Abbath, and this is me, I play drums".
