Sad. I think God Was Created was ok, nothing great, but felt this band had a lot of potential. Dunno if this is old news |

GWC was my all time favorite. Their other albums were okay, but GWC was their pinnacle, and possessed more emotion and hate than any other DM release. Ever. You know what's good about this? I was talking to the guitarist... Chavez. He basically was telling me they were going to sound like a mix between Darkest Hour and Naglfar on their next album. Glad that was avoided. Between the addition of the shitty metalcore vocalist (HOW COULD HE REPLACE GEARHEART?), and their slow decent into metalcore tendencies, I'm almost glad this happened. Thank GOD GWC is widely available through MetalBlade, because that album will go down as the best of the last 10 years. BTW, props TS, I'd been meaning to post about this news for a week now, but you beat me to it. |

I disagree, they broke ground with their sound. No band sounded like them when they came out with GWC, and that was after YEARS of fucking clones and other bullshit. But, you are permitted to think what you want. Vehemence, RIP. |

Meh. They were OK. I saw them live at the Texas Murderfest, they did a damn good live show, but on CD it didn't come across as well. If they were going to sound anything like Naglfar, then good riddance. |
