Folk metal is propably my favorite after Power metal. I haven't come across any truly miserable bands. Korpiklaani goes well with a few pints of beer (tried & tested) but at least for me it doesn't suit normal listening since it's a bit too much folk and a bit too little metal. I don't like arguing about genres but this is not Viking metal, it's FOLK-metal |

cool, i wish i could see such a strange band live. I have 'The hunting Song' and it is so great! It is very folky, but I don't really think it's Viking metal , apart from the start of the song, which has all these guys charging and screaming. dammit, now you've got that "AY AY YA Yaa" thing stuck in my head. :x |
