Kreator! The only two Slayer albums that I really love are South of Heaven and Show No Mercy, while Kreator have two albums in my top thrash albums of all times (Pleasure to Kill and Coma of Souls) while Extreme Aggression, Endless Pain and Terrible Certainty are completely awesome. End story: Kreator is basically the best thrash band ever with competition from Overkill when they're in top form: Kreator wins.

The only Slayer album i still listen to is Show No Mercy and Hell Awaits. Endless Pain to Coma Of Souls slay ! I hold Sodom and Destruction higher tho

argh! How can you ask to pick a side with the the best thrash bands ever? Theyre equally as awesome as each other, never mind what scene they're from. Slayer is more popular than Kreator, but Kreator has the appeal of probably every underground metalhead in the world, and both have created some of the most pleaing metal ever to be created. Also, they're just as pissed off and aggressive as each other.

sorry guys but i prefer SLAYER! RIB rocks, same with Seasons In The Abyss and SNM! HW is also nice. so they suck now, but holy fucking shit did they kick ass before!

i was never a big Kreator fan, but i must say that Terrible Certainty kicks a fairly large amount of ass!

btw, what do you think of Enemy Of God? imo i really like the new production... shame it doesn't have the aggression of the older albums. i know that the older albums sound "natural" and stuff, but it's just too raw for my taste. old Kreator aggression + new more polished sound = damn near perfect sound!

Kreator all the way.
Slayer made one of the best thrash albums ever though which is Show No Mercy. Chemical Warfare is also a very good release.

That's pretty much my opinion exactly, including the Overkill part.

Not that I don't like Slayer, but I don't see in them what everyone else seems to. Well, everyone other than the other posters here, it seems this is something most of us can agree on.

Kreator would beat Slayer into the dust with a heavy spiked mace, and then urinate on the dust, and form the dust into a little baby, and then proceed to laugh at them for making a lot of bad albums. Then they would tell them good job for Show No Mercy....then they'd keep laughing.

And what about Hell Awaits,Reign in Blood,South of Heaven,Seasons in the Abyss and even Divine Intervention?All those are bad albums?

I never got what the big deal about Reign in Blood is. Raining Blood and Angel of Death are good songs but I don't think the rest of the album's that special.
