After my first listen I thought it was pretty humorous. "Burn this mutha fucka like a roman candle!" HAHA!! So I'd say it sucks, but I'll give it another try. This album is a completely different genre of metal when compared to their first release.


BTW the only other Exodus album I own is “Bounded by Blood”, so my expectations for this album were a little high.

Its shite, but it took me two listens to come to that conclusion.

I may give it a third just to hammer in the final nail, so don't be surprised if it pops up in my audioscrobbler.

Its not completely terrible, but it is pretty bad. Even Tempo of the Damned, overrated that it is, is better than this. But I'm with Metalness. I want another Bonded by Blood!

tempo of the damned isnt that bad, but some other good ones are pleasures of the flesh and fabulous disaster. really good.

Judging this album even on it's individual merits does not make it seem satisfactory to me. Sure, there are some good riffs, but the production sounds absolutely awful, and their new vocalist does nothing to make the album stand out against a scene of other singers with no variation .

The "ok" option, it's pretty mediocre. Following the excellent 'Tempo of the Damned' it ends up being the disappointment of 2005 thus far.

Maybe it's just that I adore Exodus otherwise (even their non-Bonded by Blood albums), and thus I was massively disappointed, but I think it's complete shit. It took about thirty seconds into the first song to figure that out, but I listened on anyway just to have my hope shattered. I cried myself to sleep that night.

Not really. But I would have if it wasn't unkvlt.

Trust me, he makes up for it with a great live performance.
