I just bought their latest cd and I really like it. I really like Dark Tranquility and this album seems to be a heavier version of them. I think the guitar harmonies are perfect.

Nobody seemed to like God Forbid when I mentioned them Does The Forsaken get respect around here?

Fuck yeah, at least from me they do. You should get their first album as well. Very heavy, very good.

I bought the Japanese import of Manifest of Hate at the bargain bin in Virgin. That was certainly a gamble that paid off. I'm a fan of their style of death metal. It blends certain elements of Dark Tranq with more brutal stuff like old Kreator and God Dethroned.

Their latest cd is brilliant! It does bear resemblance to Dark Tranquility, but i think there's a lot here that makes this band stand out from other melodeath, namely the good songs and the aforementioned guitar harmonies.
