I had listened to a few Belphegor albums before like Pestapokalypse and Lucifer Incestus but I had never checked out their first 3 albums before. Yesterday I did this and absolutely loved Necrodaemon terrorsathan and Blutsabbath. I've also seen them live in 2011 or 2010.

What's everyone's opinion on these guys? :dio:

Hmm... What do I think of Belphegor... I haven't heard the first two albums and the most recent works from them are furiously generic with odd moments of brilliance which is ultimately irrelevant. Do I like them? No, not really.

Meh...they're okay. Seen the band live a few times and they were solid but not anything really exceptional.

Odd, I've only heard the first two albums, thought them generically furious, with moments of brilliant irrelevance, ultimately.

I believe Husker appreciates Belphegor much more than the rest of us do. It's the same with In Flames, which he apparently loves, too. He doesn't expect a lot and goes into the record satisfied. Not many can achieve that.

Yeah I'm not a super picky guy when it comes to metal I guess.....I love old and mid-period in flames though!

The amount to which I enjoyed Bondage Goat Zombie when it came out was unreal.
