Which record do you prefer, colony or clayman?

I think I like Colony more. Clayman is just a little bit overbearing sometimes and Colony is a little bit more melancholic.

Where is the option for Jester Race/Subterranean though! Clayman is closer to when they fell off the cliff, so Colony it is.

I very rarely listen to In Flames. However, when I do, it's usually Whoracle or The Jester Race.

I really like both albums but as the years have gone by the album that still gets the occasional spin is Colony. I think as a track for track comparison they're fairly equal, but as whole albums Colony is more pleasing to the ear for some reason. Maybe it's as you say, Clayman gets a bit overbearing.

Mediocrity in the former and slightly worse mediocrity in the later.

Oh and I'd rather listen to Lunar Strain than either of these albums.

If you don't listen to latter In flames you're obviously an evil elitist IMN who is jealous of the fact they're making millions and rather listen to kvlt black metal. That's always Evil dead's lolzworthy argument, he just doesn't comprehend that their music is the audio equivalent of being on the rack.

Pretty much, and I'll never understand his obsessive defense of latter In Flames either, most of the other stuff he likes is good.
