as usually, Heathen are great... can't wait for this new album !!! the kings of melodic heavy thrash are back... too bad for Nevermore, they have competition now ! :D

Well I wouldnt say Nevermore is Thrash. Maybe when Jeff Loomis was in the band they had a little thrash, but not enough to make them a thrash band. And I've only heard a couple of the new Heathen songs, and they were mediocre....one had a really awesome solo in it however.

Damn....the solos are fucking awesome. The verses are only ok though. But still...the fucking solos are awesome.

I am enjoying this very much, and I must say, this is looking to be the best album of 2005. Damn good job, Heathen.

Ever since they started posting demos on their site I've been amazed that they can still pull this shit off! So many bands try and fail, or simply create good-to-great music that is just different! Heathen, though, have managed to still create that awesome thrash sound without sounding dated, and even improve on it!! I can't wait for a full length!!
