whats everyone's opinion on six feet under? I hadn't listened to them outside of a few songs until recently. I dig them though, it's nothing that's going to blow your mind, but if you're just looking for some chill death metal that has some groove it's fucking awesome. I haven't heard their newest record, but 2012's undead is pretty fucking sick. opinions?

nah man. I'm not 15. I'm 24. I just disagree that dark funeral suck, dark funeral is way sick. Deafheaven I haven't really checked, but my friend says they're good but idk if I'm down with the post-rock influence... |

Dude. No. They don't have a "post" rock influence, lol. They have a post-cock influence, the vocalist George Lesage is a massive figure in the underground subculture of LGBT bm bondage musicians, you should check out their newest album Sungayther it combines all the best elements of post cock, black metal, and Jpop all in an invigorating and heavy mix. Here the guy is trying to throttle and kiss an unsuspecting scene kid that looks a lot like Trapt.

There are bands that I've listened to that didn't sound interesting at first, but later on started liking them the more I listened to them. Eg : Bolt Thrower. There are also bands that I thought were great at first, but the more I listened to them, the more weaker they sounded. Eg: Six Feet Under. I wouldn't recommend them. I think they're pretty weak although Chris Barnes is a great vocalist barring his pig squeals. I hate them. |
