Hey guys... I've been on a thrash kick lately and while I feel like I've probably hit a wall as far as discovering any new bands representing thrash in a fun way ( Like Havok ) or oldschool bands that are generally forgotten about ( Like Mortal Sin, or even Flotsam and Jetsam ). So I'm curious if any can help me out. The gimmes and obvious picks can go without saying. Bands would be great, but bands and particular albums would be even better. Thanks dudes. |

The comps (Unholy Thrash Attack, Totalitarian State Of vwar) are the best places to start, because they basically carry the material from their two demos. Terrorstorm is highly recommended as well. |

It's nice to see Whiplash mentioned. Very underrated IMO, and seldom spoken of. |

Also, since nobody has mentioned them, Bestial Mockery, Alastor (Potugal) are very good. |

Anacrusis. They were a band who were ahead of their time. |

There was a point in time where you could download the first 2-3 Anacrusis albums in entirety directly from the bands website. I wonder if that's still an option? |

All their albums were available for free download at that time. I just checked and I believe they have the option to download their albums, but track by track. http://anacrusis.us/media%20files/MP3/A ... lbums.html |
