So it is annoying when people go beyond "I don't like it" constantly, but it is ok to make a value judgement once in a while? Ok, I can buy that. My problem with Steve, for example, was he would go beyond merely saying "I don't like it" all the time, often peppered with insults for the listener, the listener's mother, the listener's unborn children, etc. There is a sliding scale here. |

I'm referring to the people who have to deconstruct every minute detail of something just to show how inferior it is. Often with snide comments directed at those who do like, all in an effort to show that he or she and their taste if superior to yours. You'll see weekend-warrior musicians do this a lot. |
