More precisely
Covenant - In Times Before the Light
Keep of Kalessin - Through Times of War

I REALLY enjoy listening to these two for many years now...always.
(besides Troll's "Drep de Kristne") Is there anything out there of this sound?

Great album! Perhaps early Hades, the two albums before they had to add the 'Almighty'?

Covenant - In Times Before the Light
Very underappreciated album that somehow never got the recognotion it deserved. Bought it in 97, and was disamyed to hear the re-make (WTF!?!). Every track is solid, 8.5/10

I havent heard Keep of Kalessin in over ten years, though I'd have to revisit them..

Seconded on The Troll album, as well.

Odium-Sad Realm Of The Stars is worth looking into; another oddly overlooked album.

I've noticed the first three Gehenna albums are usually overlooked as well; First Spell, Seen Through The Veils Of Darkness, Malice... all way above average.
As soon as Sarcana left, they went downhill, though.

Odium and the second of Troll heard them both, and they are quite of a different flavor IMO. Not exactly what I am searching for.

Gonna check Hades and Gehenna...

Thanks

Gehenna is one of the most overlooked BM bands ever. A terrible shame.

Indeed, need to review some more of their early stuff...

I've checked them both, Hades are ok for me, Gehenna liked much better. Indeed solid stuff (not mind blowing as Covenant though..)

Any other suggestions?
