Moonlyght – Fantasy Moonlyght – Ride On Ice Storms Moonlyght – The Autumn’s Freezing Harmony This is a band I picked up in the $2 section. I still don’t know what to think of them. All I know is that I really like this band. They’re like a gothic, doomy, black metal version of Blackmore’s Night. Weird. They’ve only released one CD, Progressive Darkness, since forming in 1995. It was released in 2002 and re-released in 2004. Website: http://pages.videotron.com/vndiktor/moonlyght |

Hmm, there is not alot of BM around, but it's not bad. Only the synths get a little bit on my nerves at times. The riffs etc are good, but if you want better stuff in the same style (with a tad more black), check Dark Fortress - Tales Of Eternal Dusk, and their second album Profane Genocidal Creations thereafter (it's blacker). Dark Fortress - Tales From Eternal Dusk - Pelgrim Of The Nightly Spheres Dark Fortress - Tales From Eternal Dusk - Crimson Tears Dark Fortress - Profane Genocidal Creations - Warlord Dark Fortress - Profane Genocidal Creations - Defiance Of Death |

Dark Fortress - Tales From Eternal Dusk - Pelgrim Of The Nightly Spheres Dark Fortress - Tales From Eternal Dusk - Crimson Tears Dark Fortress - Profane Genocidal Creations - Warlord Dark Fortress - Profane Genocidal Creations - Defiance Of Death Hmmm...I actually do like these. They're not mind-blowing, but I will definitely look out for this band. Thanks! |
