Wow, I just got around to giving this one a good listen and it's really fucking awesome. Super chill and grinding and then fast. The vocals are awesome and the melodies remind me how awesome death metal can sound. Thank you Peter! |

Great Stuff indeed, I purchased this album after seeing them live at a Soilwork / Dark Tranquillity show in May. War Within, Born Dead Burried alive, Dead Sky Dawning and New World are my favorite tracks. I really enjoy Hypocrisy's vocals, they are very versatile sometimes he grunts then shrieks then growls. Very effective especially during a concert. |

Great Guitar Work and very good understandable death vox. Far better than American Death IMO. New album is close to being out |

![]() Mediolanum Capta Est is better, but Hypocrisy Destroys Wacken is great. Obituary's Dead is also better than the abovementioned. Just a case of energy, Mayhem and Obituary have more of it than Hypocrisy. |

About mayhem live albums (there are like 893 of them) Live in Leipzig kicks a high amount of ass. |

I wish that it was better recorded, you can barely hear anything but the drums and Dead's vocals. In terms of 'When Dead was the vocalist' Mayhem material, it stands second to Out From the Dark, a non-live recording with Dead on vocals. It is of course absolutely impossible to find, but the mp3's are floating around. The non-live rendition of Freezing Moon with Dead on vocals is fucking brilliant. |

Mayhem has so many shit out there it's impossible to get all of them. I must check it out. Dead is one of the best. Too bad he's gone. |
