I'm looking for thrash bands that are totally anti political/anti government. I know all about Mustain's political belief so don't suggest Megadeth as I have a few of their albums. I want it to be as angry, raw and mean as possible to. |

Anti-political means that it couldn't take a stance on the role of government for that would be a political claim and hence an anti-politcal band couldn't be anti-government. I'll just assume that you wanted a band that espouses right wing ideology so go look up whatever Jon Shaeffer(sp?) of Iced Earth is doing these days. |

A lot of Napalm Death is anti-establishment in nature .. good luck in understanding what he is singing. And it's a bit extreme for trash ears. Discharge's Hear Nothing, See Nothing, Say Nothing is very anti-establishment although the music is thrash-punk in nature. |

Kreator's Petrozza is an annie.Understand it's not thrash, but there are definitely thrash-y breaks, especially on their earlier albums. The rest is essentially thrash sped up. Fact is, most of the politically charged bands cross over into punk, hardcore or grind. Which is much angrier, rawer and meaner than thrash anyhow. |

I don't mind the crossover stuff. I do listen to Punk,Hardcore,Grindcore and Crust so that's no problem. |

Ignore the Agnostic Front suggestion .. what the hell happened to them? Now they look and sound like Limp Bizkit ![]() Last Forbidden had some political lyrics .. 'Hopenosis' was a classic ![]() |

This was a good idea. I fear it will ultimately prove to be impractical. |

Given the inanity of the premise of this misbegotten venue of discussion, I felt prompted to redirect the locus of the discourse to a much more befitting theater. I Nima, the purveyor of all metaldom have decreed thus. |
