One part of me thinks that the band has stagnated, as this sounds a lot like the last three (especially TWFNS). I still really enjoy it and will surely buy it when it comes out.

Pig Destroyer's Terrifyer, Repulsion's Horrified and Terrorizer's World Downfall before you close the book on it.

Don't love ND. Never have. Not interested.

I will definitely look into those. Cheers.

+1

It's simple not appealing to me.

But the riffs! And the intensity!

I like groove in my extreme metal. Perhaps I haven't listened the right stuff. Endless blastbeats bore me infinitely.

Steve is the only one that doesn't apply to. Pig Destroyer's Naked Trees has lovely drumming, my good friend: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jn0mwdpU6Tc

It is blastbeats by the buttload but PD is tasteful and their entire presentation is done with class. The groove in that riff and those cymbal beats mhmmm... Okay, maybe convincing people to try and give grind a chance is like trying to convince someone that the ugly girl at the prom has a heart of gold and is actually worth chatting up.

Don't be a retard, in fact most of the old school dm I listen too is varied. If I was forced to listen to your communist grind though I'd probably go insane.

That doesn't even make sense. Not too mention to apoliticize grind is fucking stupid. ND is uber-political as was Terrorizer.

Oh, yeah, trolled me lols.

You know most grindcore bands and their tree hugging, commune dwelling,-equality by totalitarian force musicians are leftists- don't be ignorant. You will vote Obama in 2012 you pinko tyrant.

The first song proper didn't grab me like on the last few albums, hopefully it gets better.
