I've noticed lately ive been getting into allot of older bands and ive been looking for some to listen to. I don't want any big names like Mayhem/death. thanks.

There is nothing "elitist" about it, you wanted older bands and these are all bands that have been around for aeons. I forgot to add Goatlord to black/death, they are a great fucking band in terms of playing doom/blackened death.

well so far the following bands are looking good:
Sinister
hellwitch
Monstrosity (early corpsegrinder? no wonder why its good)
Insatanity
Samael ( There new stuff i heard, its pretty bad but the older the better)
kvist
Demilich (woah like really early brutal death metal and is the better version of archgoat)
