sick ass black metal, been into these guys recently. Any other fans on the board? Kind of exactly what I've been looking for in a band and they deliver.

Yep. World Without End, in particular, was an excellent album. I thought/hoped I'd recommended them to you before, and forum search turns out I did, at least twice.

Anyhow, glad you liked them :dio:

A much more technical and highly structured BM band from Poland called "Blaze of Perdition" might interest some people here.

Thanks, DI, will give them a listen.

Edit: Yeah, that stuff was pretty good, DI, reminded me of Watain (in a good way) quite a bit.

Back to the original topic: World Without End is one of the best (if not the best) raw black metal albums of the past decade. I don't normally like fast black metal (and the whole album isn't like this), but this is fast black metal done very well.

U-hum. It's great structured BM with excellent riffage and tremendous atmosphere. It definitely has things in common with Watain but most definitely a sound of their own. Glad you found it interesting. I might try to get into Katharsis a bit more. I don't find them uninteresting but just a matter of delving into it a bit more.
