When melody and thrash mix the resulting sound usually results in an uneven mix, but with Kreator's two most recent albums excluding Hordes of chaos I thought there was a decent balance. Enemy of God had a bit more of a Gothenburg edge and had less thrashing than Violent Revolution, and for that it received a bit of backlash yet was probably well-received by this magazine. How do you think time has treated their most recent albums, and with Kreator's history with experimentation (groove metal, and even electronic elements with Endorama) has been on the band?

I Personally prefer the Melodic side of Kreator and I think it has stood the test of time for me. I recently bought Endorama and liked it quite a lot. It's nothing like what they have done in the past with songs that are mid-paced and Gothic-like. I never really liked Kreator's classic-labeled albums as there is no sense of melody to be found in it. I like Thrash Metal to be technical yet melodic which Kreator really was neither.

I think the last 3 albums are fine. They seem to fit right along with that mid-range metal section that's not too commercial and not too-extreme and that combines elements of the more mainstream side of extreme metal (i.e. groovey thrash and melodic DM).

Other bands n this category include stuff ala Nevermore, Dark Tranquility, Darkane, Arch Enemy, Amon Amarth, Onslaught, The Haunted, Hatesphere etc.

I like Kreator late material a lot more than some (i said some) of their early material. As for Endorama, I love this one. Absolutely not what you may expect from Kreator, but great one nonetheless. A bit like Metallica's Load. People don't like it only because there is "Metallica" written on the cover and expect something else. People are dumb. Let them all die.

I like all the Kreator I've heard (most of it) and need to listen to them more often.

+1. Hordes of Chaos was the only thing I've heard of theirs that I was close to loving.
