Does anyone has any idea what's up with these guys?
...are they still alive?

Last I heard was that they were looking for a label to release the new album. I can't remember where I read/heard that though.

Here's a little sample of what we're gonna (...one day) get
http://my.opera.com/thekovenant/homes/b ... er%202.mp3

Though they brand themselves as completely unpredictable and innovative, it sounds a bit Dimmu Borgirish if you ask me (not as if it's a bad thing).
The problem is that it's from 2006...

After what they did to In Times Before The Light, they are dead to me.

Indeed, THAT one was cruel, but don't be too harsh on them.
All in all those guys are simply fed up with BM and trying to do some new stuff.
I personally pretty loved even SETI, and will definitely check Aria Galactica out the day it will be released.

In October they're playing at a small festival here in NL, apparantly they will play the entire "In Times Before the Light" album.

I'll be there, should be interesting! (Not to mention the lineup is pretty nuts:

lol Funny that you ask this now. My brother and I were huge Kovenant nuts like, shit, 6-7 years ago? Maybe even longer now. And back then we were like " WHEN are they going to release the next album" ?

Probably fucking never. But I'd love if they did. Huge fan. I love SETI and Animatronic.
