yeah Funeral Mist is one of the most brutal black metal bands as well. Every album just oozes evil. Some of it's actually hard for me to listen to.

Gorgoroth- Twilight of the Idols and Gorgoroth- Ad Majorem Gloriam Sathanas are the best extreme metal albums if you ask me.

Brown Jenkins are a heavy as shit black metal band.

3. Slayer - Gemini (Track) but of course it is not the only song of slayer that is heavy and brutal

4. Six Feet Under - True Carnage (Whole Album)

5. Krisiun - AssassiNation (Whole Album)

6. Hatebreed - Supremacy and The Rise of Brutality (Whole Album)

7. Dimmu Borgir - Spellbound by the Devil, Tormentor of Christian Souls, Puritania and IndoctriNation from The Invaluable Darkness (especially the ending ) awesome !

And for good measure Six Feet Under is the most boring thing I've ever listened to and Omen is a weak Soulfly album. And Soulfly really doesn't fit this question. Frontlines, their best song, I'd be hard pressed to list here. And Gemini? Seriously? All Shall Perish. Yawn. And Dimmu is Dimmu.

Six Feet Under is pretty terrible, tbh. They sound like the kind of Death Metal that people who don't listen to Metal think Death Metal sounds like.
