I listened to their debut album and wasnt really moved by it, but someone recommended I check this one out and holy shit, talk about progression. Just a great sounding album, highly technical with just enough sense of songwriting to make it stay interesting. Curious what others think. |

Great album. Quite a departure from their other stuff, and I still need more time with it before I can digest it, but it's great. |

Dont get hung up too much on the core aspect. Their first album was pure core (insert whatever type you want, it all sounds the same to me), and didnt have much of a lasting impression. But this release has alot of progressive moments that break away from the wall of sound effect. I wouldnt say it is melodic, but the songwriting has enough diversity to keep your interest. Plus alot of the effects used on the album really enhance the feeling beyond the average. The more I listen to it, the more it reveals, quite a bit of layers to it. |

Yeah, this album rocks. I was pretty surprised after giving it a couple spins. I had written them off as just another "core" band, but they are much better than that. |

This is an album that gets better with every listen, I think. At first, I wasn't sure how to react, but the more I listen to it, the more I find things to love about it. |

Well I tried guys. I liked the Meshuggah parts (because I like Meshuggah), good leads too, but the core parts/vocals annoy me. Not too bad though. |
